DVD Only Episode of Sengoku BASARA Two [Update Jul 13]

According to AmiAmi online shop, the DVD volume 7 of Sengoku Basara Two will carry an unaired episode. It will be released in April 2011.

According to the official website, short extra episodes of Sengoku Basara Two will be included in the DVDs. The first episode "Mini Sengoku BASARA Tsukiyo no Katakura-kun" (3min) will be released with the DVD volume 1 on October 6th.

Already? I didn't even saw the first episode of second season yet. I don't get the point of doing this, but now it's normal see they announcing extra episodes even before the regular show airs on TV.

What worked? Anyways, it seems like every series nowadays is getting these "mini" episodes released along with the DVD's and they, most of the time, aren't good.
