That's because " now-oh-so-trendy" Lion-O is in a secret relationship with the " now- extra-hairy" Panthro whose pet name is "papi" .

Oh Wow....um, lol. Little odd.

Cheetara's cute, and Lion-o has like the typical "hey I have the bishounen main character Vegeta hair" hair, lol! (but pink hair?)

I actually quite like those designs.

Also, unexpected news is unexpected.

I guess this means that Mumra will change to Mumra-san

Naw, this is designed to be released on cartoon network so it will be in English. Just like the original series, it's japanese animation and american voices.

It's going to suck and/or get canned Japanese people can't animate American cartoons.

the original ThunderCats animation was done by a Japanese anime company.

"The animation was provided by Pacific Animation Corporation, the working name for a collective of Japanese studios including Topcraft, a group who would later go on to form Studio Ghibli." - from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thundercats

the story and voiceovers were done by the american company Rankin/Bass (of Lord of the Rings fame)

Let me amend my previous statement. Japanese anime studios of today can't animate american series for crap(thundercats=American pls read why thanks). That new transformers show from 2k7 sucked balls, batman anime terrible, wolverine anime a bucket of shit. Leave it to the Japan of today to fuck up a good concept(Toyota ). Everything was better in the 80s, the tv shows, movies, the sex you name it. Hell I still love the 10 years that came after it which I call 80s part 2. FYI I think we all know a ton of 80s shows were animated by Japanese studios even more obscure ones like galaxy high. But in the 80s these shows didn't feel Japanese they felt AMERICAN.

I can tell that Thundercats has quite a place on a certain generation's childhood. This justifies that the expectations are huge. Let us all hope that this turns out to be something legendary.

This...will be interesting. I'm a big fan of Thunder Cats.

If it's not in English I'm gonna kill someone..

And yet if it were a Japanese anime being reproduced by even a stellar American studio, the cries of "Ruined FOREVER!" would be ringing through the server like a thousand nails scraping across the world's biggest chalkboard...

I just thought of something.

Does this mean we're gonna see an increase of Cheetara hentai?
