Next Visual Art's/Key Game Revealed

Itaru Hinoue, the main artist of Visual Art's/Key, the company who produced the original games behind Kanon, Air, and most recently Clannad, has revealed in her blog Key's next game, which will be called Rewrite. This new game will feature new writers after the exit of Jun Maeda as main scenario writer for Key. These new writers include will include Tanaka Romeo (Cross Channel), Ryuukishi07 (Higurashi, Umineko) and Tonogawa Yuuto (Komari and Kurugaya's scenarios from Little Busters!).

07th Expansion, the company behind the original game for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, has updated their website with a picture of Misuzu and a link to Key's website.

i hope any subbers (VNs that is) will take on this, and fansub it for the ones who do not understand japanese... because a key game with higurashi writers = win writing.

I wanna see it adopted to anime quick! LOL! They haven't release the game yet, eh?! Well, I'm expecting greater than Kanon, Air, Clannad from this one then.

That does make sense, and Air is a Beethoven symphony as well...and "It's a Wonderful Life" from Tomoyo After is also a song. Can't figure out where Planetarian is from though =P

I assume that "Key" might hang together with the term Key in music.
like they are an element what is needed for composing their visual novel.

so wich anime had Pachelbels Canon-D and irish music from the band Clannad as OP?
I would generally say they take their names from existing music, not only J-rock. well at least in Kanon they did mention it directly.

Of course, I'm interested in this because if the pattern follows as usual, we'll proberbly get a damn good anime out of it. However, with nearly all the original staff gone, will it still have that feel to it that the other 3 had?

I'm concerned, but still excited.
