Toei Produces Pilot CGI Anime of Gaiking

According to the official website, Toei Animation produced a pilot movie of Gaiking remake work. The CGI pilot will be shown at Tokyo International Anime Fair 2010 to be held on March 27th.

Toei collaborated with Jules Urbach, who engineered a novel rendering system "Light Stage". The system has been widely used in Hollywood movies such as Avatar, Spiderman 2, Hancock.

as in the rating? don't trust that. 7.5 is collective subjectivity. the screen shot looks pretty good. although i hate giant robot anime so i wont bother watching the tv show to get the story.

might be good i hope it has a good sotry line awful lot of remakes latly x,x i just hope they remake a few FAIL animes into pure win XD

Gaiking - more than meets the eye. Oh, wait. Wrong movie. May they splurge on the story...may they splurge on the story...Ahh - they spent everything on the CGI.
