'Sengoku Youko' Unveils Additional Cast, Staff, Character Promo

The official website for the Sengoku Youko television anime revealed additional cast, staff, and a character promo on Sunday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2024 on Tokyo MX, BS Asahi, ABC TV, and Metele.

Masahiro Aizawa (Hakyuu Houshin Engi) is helming the anime at White Fox. Jukki Hanada (Steins;Gate) is handling the series composition and script. Yousuke Okada is designing the characters, and Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Satoshi Mizukami's action fantasy manga, which serialized in the Monthly Comic Blade magazine from December 2007 to July 2014 and then transferred to the Comic Blade website from September 2014 to May 2016. Mag Garden shipped the 17th and final volume in June 2016.

Tokyopop licensed the manga in English in August last year and released the second volume on July 11. The third volume is scheduled to go on sale on September 26.

looks alright, I like the character designs and backgrounds, I see they even made Shakuyaku's tits bigger which is a plus.
Tue end result should he good, the big fights are in the middle and at the end of the manga. I pray to the Void that we get a good adaptation, if not Imma use my spirit circle to detele this timeline.

I'm guessing we won't get those 37 episodes in a go.. would be a miracle if it does certainly happen lol.

Also from the looks of this PV, at the very least it's kind of assured this won't get THAT same treatment author's last adaptation got.
