New 'Bikkuriman' Anime Announced for Fall 2023

Avex Pictures opened an official website for a new Bikkuriman anime on Monday, revealing the main staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promo. The new anime, titled Bikkurimen, will premiere in Fall 2023.

The anime was originally announced by confectionery manufacturer Lotte on Saturday, revealing original character designs by Shaman King manga creator Hiroyuki Takei. Bikkurimen will feature a completely original story.

The original Bikkuriman anime debuted in 1987, which was followed by four television anime between 1989 and 2007. The franchise also inspired two anime movies in 1988.

I wonder how long Vagabond will last in manga, which you usually joke about when you see the adaptation announcements of less popular works.
