'Boushoku no Berserk' Reveals Main Cast, 2023 Premiere

The official website of the television anime adapting Ichika Isshiki's Boushoku no Berserk: Ore dake Level to Iu Gainen wo Toppa suru (Berserk of Gluttony) light novel revealed on Thursday the main cast, a teaser promo, and a teaser visual (pictured). The anime is set to premiere in 2023.

Ryouta Oosaka (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry) and Tomokazu Seki (Fate/stay night) are starring as Fate Graphite and Greed, respectively.

Isshiki began penning the action fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2017. The series was transferred to Kakuyomu in March 2022. Micro Magazine began publishing the series under its GC Novels imprint in November 2017, featuring illustrations by fame. The eighth volume was released in October 2022.

Daisuke Takino began drawing a manga adaptation on Micro Magazine's Comic Ride website in March 2018. The ninth volume went on sale in October 2022, and the tenth volume is scheduled for an April 27 release.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the novel and manga in English in July 2020. The seventh light novel and manga volume went on sale in October 2022 and December 2022, respectively.

If I'm not mistaken, the story in this anime is set in the future of earth where the technology from the past has disappeared

oh and there are the 7 deadly sins too

Looks like this show will be very dark. I've read the manga (which seems to have discontinued the english scanlations after chapter 47) and it gave me chills. Did not have much time to read the novels but the story is good. Hoping for a decent adaptation.
