'Kaiko sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life' Unveils Additional Cast, Staff, Theme Songs, First Promo

The official website of the Kaiko sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life (The Slow Second Life of a Dismissed Dark Soldier (Age 30)) television anime unveiled additional cast, staff, theme songs, the first promo, and a key visual (pictured). The anime is set to premiere on January 7.

Hinano is performing the opening theme "CHANGEMAKER," and Akari Kitou is performing the ending theme "Dear Doze Days," previewed in the promotional video below.

Fumitoshi Oizaki (Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm) is helming the anime at Encourage Films. Hitomi Amemiya (Merc Storia: Mukiryoku no Shounen to Bin no Naka no Shoujo) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Satomi Yonezawa is designing the characters, and Tsubasa Itou (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu) is composing the music.

The anime adapts Rokujuuyon Okazawa's fantasy light novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2018. Kodansha began publishing the title under its K Lanobe Books label in August 2019, featuring illustrations by Sage Joh. The third volume shipped in March 2020.

Rurekuchie began serializing a manga adaptation in Young Magazine the 3rd in August 2019. Kodansha published the eighth volume on November 18.
