 The official website of the Kaiko sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life (Chillin' in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King's Army) television anime revealed additional cast members and the second promotional video on Monday. The anime is set to broadcast on January 7 at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, followed by AT-X.Cast Granverza: Masaki Terasoma (Steins;Gate) Arantzil: Kazuhiko Inoue (Naruto) Satome: Yuuki Kudou (Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru) Sessha: Hiromichi Tezuka (Edens Zero) Fitbitan: Takaki Ootomari (Futoku no Guild) Fumitoshi Oizaki (Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm) is helming the anime at Encourage Films. Hitomi Amemiya (Merc Storia: Mukiryoku no Shounen to Bin no Naka no Shoujo) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Satomi Yonezawa (Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu animation director) is designing the characters, and Tsubasa Itou (Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu) is composing the music. The anime adapts Rokujuuyon Okazawa's fantasy light novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2018. Kodansha began publishing the title under its K Lanobe Books label in August 2019, featuring illustrations by Sage Joh. The third volume shipped in March 2020.
