Light Novel 'Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu.' Gets TV Anime in Summer 2023

Television station Mainichi Broadcasting System announced on Friday that Tenichi's Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu. (The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior) light novel is receiving a television anime adaptation. The official website also revealed the main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2023.

Tenichi began writing the fantasy romance story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2018. Ichijinsha began releasing the series under its Iris Neo label in June 2019, featuring illustrations by Suzunosuke. The fifth volume was released on April 4.

Bunko Matsuura began serializing a manga adaptation on Zero-Sum Online in March 2019. The third volume shipped on January 31.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel and manga in English in June last year. The light novel's third volume is scheduled to release on February 21, while the manga's third volume will ship on February 14.

Synopsis
Pride Royal Ivy is the final boss and all-around scum in the otome game To a Beam of Light With You. She committed innumerable crimes—from enslaving her adopted brother in a soul-binding contract to abusing her position against the servants in the household. In short, she is a villain of pure evil.

A normal high school student in Japan reincarnates into the eight-year-old body of Princess Pride. The first order of business: survive to see another day. Using her cheat-like abilities, she resolves to save her father, rescue the kingdom, and become a kind and benevolent ruler. And so, Pride resolves to change her fate, no matter what it takes! From what I remember, yes. But this show has equal focus on politics/drama as well. It's a pretty well rounded story actually.

The protagonist and the story is much more serious. And frankly, it's more action-oriented than others adapted till this point.
Some part of it is actually intense. So I'm looking forward to this one.
