'Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai' Reveals Additional Cast Pair, Opening Theme
The official website for the anime adaptation of Nene Yukimori's Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai (Kubo-san Won't Let Me Be Invisible) manga revealed a pair of additional cast and the opening theme on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2023.
Ai Kakuma (Shokugeki no Souma) and Ayana Taketatsu (K-On!) are joining the cast as classmates of Saki Kubo and Junta Shiraishi, Hazuki Kudou and Tamao Taira, respectively.
The opening theme titled "Dramatic ja Nakutemo" will be performed by the voice actor for the series main character Nagisa Kubo, Kana Hanazawa (5-toubun no Hanayome).
Kazuomi Koga (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is helming the anime at animation studio Pine Jam. Yuuya Takahashi (Lupin III (2015)) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Yoshiko Saitou (Comic Girls) is the character designer.
Yukimori began serializing the romantic comedy manga in Young Jump magazine in October 2019. Shueisha shipped the tenth volume on September 16.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English on October 9 and released the third volume on September 6, with the fourth volume scheduled to ship on November 1. The series is also simulpublished in English and Spanish on the Manga Plus and VIZ Media's Shonen Jump website.

Still can't decide if HanaKana is still participating so actively because she's still one of the top VAs, or because her age and skills still allow her to do so? Or is it your typical average show trying to sell itself with a loud cast?
