'Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.' 2nd Season Unveils Production Staff and Additional Cast for Spring 2023

The official website of the Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. (In Another World With My Smartphone) television anime revealed on Friday three additional cast, production staff, and a teaser visual (pictured) for the second season. The new season is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2023.

The first anime season aired in 12 episodes in Summer 2017 and was helmed by Yuuji Yanase (Leadale no Daichi nite) at Production Reed. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the first season with subtitles and an English dub, respectively.

Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. adapts Patora Furuhaya's adventure fantasy light novel, which began on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2013. HJ Novel began publishing the title in May 2015, featuring illustrations by Eiji Usatsuka (Zero no Tsukaima). The 26th volume shipped on April 19.

Soto began serializing a manga adaptation on the Comp Ace magazine in November 2016. Kadokawa Shoten released the 11th volume on December 25, with the 12th volume scheduled to ship on July 26.

J-Novel Club licensed the light novel in English in February 2017 and released the 25th volume on July 4. Yen Press licensed the manga adaptation in October 2020 and will ship the sixth volume on August 9.

I can't for this. The books get some much better after 3. Which is where season 1 ended. I hope this season covers book 4-7. Because Hilde only joins in book 7. She is in book 6 for a couple of pages.

Happy it will have all nine brides but hope they don't rush it to shoehorn them all in. Also hope the don't water down the two princes arc. Also hope they put in the assailant interlude

trying my best to stay optimistic for this news. hoped they could pull a better talent but at least i survived watching this isekai. sad no phone brand decided to step in to promote their brand.
