'Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san' 2nd Season Reveals Main Staff, Winter 2023 Premiere

The official website for the Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san (Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro) television anime series revealed on Thursday the main staff, and a teaser visual (pictured). The second season, subtitled 2nd Attack, is scheduled to premiere in January 2023.

Note: The staff list includes members that have previously worked on the first season. The new members are denoted with legend NEW.

The first season by Telecom Animation Film aired in 12 episodes in Spring 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with subtitles.

774's (Nanashi) posted a prototype of the titular character Nagatoro on Pixiv in August 2011. The slice of life comedy manga began serializing on the Magazine Pocket application in November 2017. Kodansha published the 13th volume on April 8.

Kodansha Comics licensed the manga in English in October 2018 for both digital and print releases and shipped the eighth volume on September 21. The 11th and 12th volumes are planned for an August 2 release.

I don't know about the studio change. Telecom did a fantastic job of capturing the feel and pace of the manga. I wish they would have continued with it.

I dont know how I feel about the new studio though. I know OLM is great and has many good anime backed behind them. Just I hope a studio change dont mess them up in the longrun cant tell you how many times ive seen Animes get a new studio and then it became bad.

Always interested to see which series they become involved in.

This studio also made a bunch of different shows like Komi-san because it is one of the oldest anime studios at the moment. White Fox originally appeared as their sub-brand for fantasy and edgy shows.

Wow nice! I'm so ready for season 2 of Ms. Nagatoro! I found the first season soo funny and hilarious that I watched it twice and random YouTube clips many times! I'll probably re-watch the first season a 3rd time right before the 2nd season airs :p

damn, new studio, well, at least we get nagatoro, s1 was fire, nagatoro best girl and the culture festival arc was one of the best in sol, can't wait for s2

Now this is a slight change with some new players onboard.

Hopefully it will be just as good as Season 1 is, minus the controversial content.

Yeah the toanl shift in the later half of the series was quite evident, and I may as well go as far as saying it will be along those same lines or even better for the most part of the next season given they didn't decide to do something out of ordinary which I'm almost certain they won't, given OLM's recent reputation.
