'Tensei shitara Ken Deshita' Reveals Main Staff, First Promo for Fall 2022
The NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan special stage at AnimeJapan 2022 revealed the main staff and the first promotional video for the Tensei shitara Ken Deshita (Reincarnated as a Sword) television anime on Sunday. The anime series adapting Yuu Tanaka's action fantasy light novel will begin airing in October 2022.Staff

Series Composition, Script: Takahiro Nagano (Zoku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru script)
Character Design: Atsuko Saitou (Majo no Tabitabi chief animation director)
Music: Yasuharu Takanashi (Log Horizon)

Tanaka began writing the action fantasy novel, abbreviated as TenKen, on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2015. Micro Magazine began publishing the title under its GC Novels imprint in July 2016, featuring illustrations by LLO (Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai). The 12th volume shipped last September.
Tomoo Maruyama began a manga adaptation on the Denshi Birz (later Comic Boost) website in December 2016. Gentosha published the tenth volume on September 24 last year.

Can the sword transform to human? Does anyone know? I will surely watch this if the sword transform into human later in the series otherwise unsure.
