'Deemo: Sakura no Oto' Announces Additional Cast, February 2022 Premiere

The official website for the Deemo Movie: Sakura no Oto - Anata no Kanadeta Oto ga, Ima mo Hibiku (Deemo: Memorial Keys) announced five additional cast members on Thursday. The movie will open in theaters in Japan on February 25, 2022.

Mirai: Gaku Hamada (Pokemon Movie 21: Minna no Monogatari)
Nioibukuro: Naomi Watanabe (Gekijouban Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Eternal)
Kurumiwari Ningyou: Issey Ogata (Toshokan Sensou: Kakumei no Tsubasa)
Hans: Kouhei Matsushita
Valensky: Kouichi Yamadera (Lupin III)

Shuuhei Matsushita (Outbreak Company assistant director) is directing the movie at Production I.G and Signal.MD, with chief director Junichi Fujisaku (Blood+) and assistant director Yoshihiro Hiramine (Tsuki ga Kirei episode director). Bunou Fujisawa (Mars Red original creator) is collaborating on the screenplay with chief director Fujisaku. mebachi (Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai design works, ED animation) is designing the characters.

The movie is based on Rayark Inc.'s rhythm game of the same title, which was released for iOS devices in November 2013, followed by Android devices that December. The game was enhanced and ported to the PlayStation Vita in June 2015 and later to the Nintendo Switch as Deemo: Last Recital.

Does this game have male characters? I thought the whole story was about Slenderman playing the piano and several girls.
