'World Trigger' Second Season Announces Additional Cast
The official website of the World Trigger television anime revealed six additional cast members and a teaser promo for the second season on Friday. The new season will begin airing on January 10, 2021 at 1:30 a.m. on TV Asahi's NUMAnimation programming block.
Cast
Gatlin: Hisao Egawa (Dorohedoro)
Ratarikov: Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Bungou Stray Dogs)
Wen Sou: Mie Sonozaki (Great Pretender)
Koskero: Kenjirou Tsuda (Enen no Shouboutai)
Reghindetz: Ayumu Murase (Listeners)
Yomi: Ryouko Shiraishi (Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai)
The additional cast members are joining Tomo Muranaka, Yuki Kaji, Nao Tamura, Yuuichi Nakamura, and Nobunaga Shimazaki, who are reprising their previous roles as Yuuma Kuga, Osamu Mikumo, Chika Amatori, Yuuichi Jin, and Hyuse, respectively.
Morio Hatano (Dragon Ball Super) is helming the second season at Toei Animation, replacing Mitsuru Hongou and Kouji Ogawa. Hiroyuki Yoshino (Shuumatsu no Izetta) and Toshihisa Kaiya (Honzuki no Gekokujou) are returning as the scriptwrite and character designer, respectively.

Considering it's one the better shows I dropped, it's kinda cool that it's getting a second season. I just might reconsider watching the last 23 episodes if I hear it gets better.

Question is how much can they adapt before they need to do filler again? It took a weird turn and the first season ended around when the manga went on hiatus, iirc. And with the material we have...I could see 2 cour or so, unless they pad it to hell with filler content

Tbf the last 15 or so episodes was a filler arc lol. So unless you're the type to watch fillers, you basically only have 8~ episodes left lol.
