A new Robot Girls project has been announced. Titled Robot Girls Neo, it will have three episodes streamed via Animax on PlayStation. The first episode will be available on August 18, the first two episodes will be available on August 25, and all three will be available on September 1. A new set of cast members will be featured.

Introduction
Super Future Gunma is in ruins. It is said a disaster involving Photon Power happened in the past, but there's no detail or clear truth to it. The Photon Power research lab is covered in overgrowth, and its remains are enshrined at the center with a Babel Tower called Kakuya. An abandoned shopping district surrounds Kakuya, and protagonists Z-chan and Gre-chan live together on the outskirts of Photon Power village.

The two live in barracks made of scrap materials called Photon Power house. Photon Power, considered the energy of the future in the past, has been abolished. The energy from the Getter Rays that fell from the universe is the energy currently being used. However, Z-chan and Gre-chan are still using Photon Power, now considered inefficient, to live.
