Cast and Additional Staff Announced for 'Koi wa Ameagari no You ni' TV Anime

The official website of the anime adaptation of Jun Mayuzuki's Koi wa Ameagari no You ni manga has revealed cast and additional staff members. Directed by Ayumu Watanabe (Uchuu Kyoudai) at Wit Studio, the anime is scheduled to premiere on January 12 at 12:55 a.m. on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block, among other stations. Amazon's Prime Video service will stream the first episode prior to the TV premiere on January 11. Second episode onwards, the series will be distributed an hour after the Fuji TV broadcast. A new preview featuring the opening theme has also been revealed.

A pre-screening event will be held on January 6 at Shinjuku Wald 9, where the cast members will appear for a talk show.

The fact that Chico is doing the OP for this makes me feel so damn happy.

The cast though I do feel like its kinda underwhelming, but I do hope they do well with this of course.

For me this is one of the anime series that I will follow with more attention, I can not wait for it to start.

Ah, if the character design was more cute and elaborate, then I would be extremely intrigued. But for now it looks like a generic shoujo about forbidden love. However, I love wit studio's anime, so why not?

Looking forward to the opening, other than that I hope they'd at least try to make it entertaining since the manga is slower than a snail in terms of development. >.>
