Adventure Game 'Akiba's Trip' Gets TV Anime For Winter 2017

The DMM Games stage presentation from this year's Tokyo Game show revealed that Akiba's Trip will be getting a TV anime adaptation titled Akiba's Trip: The Animation. The series will be animated by Gonzo and scheduled to premiere in January 2017. In addition, the main staff members of the series were also announced.

Series Composition: Kazuho Hyoudou (ReLIFE)
Character Design: Hajime Mitsuda (Toei Robot Girls Z Plus)

I bought the game like one year ago but haven't played it yet. I wonder if this anime will be an original content or covers the 1st game which never got an English release.

Anyways, I didn't expect to see an anime for this game. And actually I think Gonzo do make some decent adaptations every now and then.

Okay the concept is pretty stupid, but I like stupid shit so why not?

Plus I enjoyed what Gonzo made previously (AoKana) so I'm pretty much gonna go and see how this goes. Lol.

for the longest time i thought this game was called akiba strip and from what i know about the game i'd say it's pretty accurate (starting to think it was intentional now actually) either way i'll probably watch it just because i'm familiar with the title.

Yessss the only game I have ever platinumed twice (or platinumed at all). I'm hyped af for it. Comedy is soo funny considering the fact that it doesn't take itself seriously at all. In fact, it actually makes fun of tropes and stuff so I can't wait for this. I've been waiting for them to announce an anime for it!!!
