[Retracted] 'Avabel Online' RPG Gets TV Anime

Asobimo,Inc, the developer for Avabel Online, has announced that the game will get an anime adaptation. The announcement was also made on the game's official website.

Avabel Online is a smartphone RPG game where 100 players can play on a server. There was also a special show that was broadcast on Tokyo MX on April 24 that featured two of the female cast members, M.A.O and Megumi Toda, who explained more information about the upcoming TV anime.

Production Has Been Discontinued!
For various reasons they have decided not to continue with the anime (they must have realized making a high quality anime costs alot and game based series sells like shit).

I'm actually really excited about this. I really loved the game at first. Played it all the time but there was no story and there was so much grinding that I got bored. I am so happy to see they are turning this game into an anime with a story. Especially with the awesome character and weapon designs.

Also, does anyone have a link to Studio Felix Film's webpage. I would like to see other work they've done.

I played the game for a while before and honestly it was just your typical RPG. Mediocre to be honest. Not expecting much from this adaptation.

Oh man I used to play this game. I don't know how I lasted until the 10th~11th floor before quitting. Was drawn in by how such beautiful graphics could be possible on a smartphone game. In reality it drained a ton of battery and if you wanted to grind for more than an hour you had to plug your phone to a power outlet.

There's almost zero story to it and pretty much just a leveling game. It was interesting once in awhile trying to kill map bosses but that was it. Unless they can add a good story to this... I don't know.
