Lead Cast for 'Sansha Sanyou' Announced
The February issue of Newtype magazine has announced the main cast members for the upcoming Spring 2016 TV anime Sansha Sanyou.Futaba Otagiri: Mai Kanazawa
Teru Hayama: Ayaka Imamura (Absolute Duo)
Youko Nishikawa: Yuu Wakui (Aikatsu!)
The anime adaptation is being helmed by Yasuhiro Kimura at Doga Kobo. Hideaki Koyasu (GJ-bu) will be handling the series composition, while Jun Yamazaki is designing the characters.
The 4-koma manga is drawn by Cherry Arai (Mikakunin de Shinkoukei) and has been serialized in Manga Time Kirara since 2003. It is currently on-going with eleven compiled volumes.

Going by the staff and studio, I doubt it. Other series by Doga Kobo that seemed like they could be shorts ended up as normal length. Could work as a short or half-length episodes though.
