TV Anime 'Shinmai Maou no Testament' Gets Second Season and Another OVA

The official website for Shinmai Maou no Testament has announced via Twitter that the TV anime will be receiving a second season. The sequel will be titled Shinmai Maou no Testament: Burst (The Testament of Sister New Devil: Burst) and will air in Fall 2015.

It was also announced that a second OVA for the anime will be bundled with the seventh volume of the manga, to be released January 2016. The first OVA episode was previously announced to be bundled with the eighth light novel volume, which will be released June 22.

The first season of Shinmai Maou no Testament debuted in Winter 2015 and will finish airing on March 28 at 12 episodes. It is adapted from Tetsuto Uesu's light novel which began publishing in 2012. Volume 1 of the Blu-ray and DVD will be released on March 27.

I don't like basara too much, but he still far better than main guy in dxd. Issei is one of the most annoying main character I ever seen in any echii anime.

I also like Maria & Yuki more than any of the females in DxD except Xenovia

I'm not saying that I hate DxD. Actually, I like DxD just like any other harem/echii with action. I just do not see anything special about DxD that makes it better than any other echii anime.

I honestly hate comparing harem animes to other harem animes because I want to watch them as their own thing you know. I read both Sister New Devil and DxD light novels on Baka Tsuki and so far I like Sister New Devil better because Basara is one of the better harem male leads out there. Unlike most Harem males I actually can relate to Basara and he doesn't make the story annoying or uninterested. I still like DxD but I just can't get into because Issei is too driven with his perversion and it really becomes really annoying. DxD has a good story but is just that Issei is making me less interested in the story. And as for the female characters, well in DxD the only female characters I like are Koneko and Ravel because I like them the most. In Sister New Devil I like all the females characters but I like Kurumi more. I guess it depends on what types of harem anime you like most and how can you tolerate it.

It's funny, I only found out about this show when I saw a PS3 theme about it, so I looked into it, Dropped the First Ep, then saw that Season 2 was coming and watch the whole thing and you know what..I enjoyed it..
It's dumb/hot so what's not to like..Heck, I'm even buying Jap Blu-ray to show support (first show so far not the last)

EP1 & EP2 uncencored for season 1 are "in existence" now, EP1 even subbed already. The differences between TV version and BD version are quite great.

I hope season 2 will have overall better production values in the TV version already.
