Moyashimon Broke Rating Record

Last episode of Moyashimon broke the rating record of Fuji TV's late night programming block noitaminA with a 5.2%. The average rating of Moyashimon is also the highest noitaminA has seen, a 4.6%. noitaminA hosted Honey and Clover, Paradise Kiss, Jyu Oh Sei, and Nodame Cantabile in the past.

WUTZ?! Moyashimon is good?! o0o then i must watch it! I had evaded it up till now cause i thought it was probably really crapy and didn't really look into it much. I was looking for a new series so yay! I guess i'll start watching it now!

From what I understand the science involved requires specialised knowledge. However, I can be patient for Moyashimon. I really hope this gets the message across to the studios - originality is the secret ingredient.

It has to be the most original series this year, so I'm not surprised. Actually, I am - didn't think it'd do this well in Japan, ha. It's a series that I've put into my top ten for 2007 series, that's for sure (and like most, only seen 6 episodes)
