Singer Alice to 'Graduate' from Music Duo ClariS to Concentrate on Studies

An announcement made on the official site for music duo ClariS reveals that Alice will be leaving the duo in order to concentrate on her studies. She will officially be leaving ClariS after their third album, "PARTY TIME," is released on June 4th.

There has been no news from the other member of the duo, Clara; however, the official site states, "ClariS is now preparing its next stage. Please continue to support the unit."

ClariS is most known for their theme songs performances in the series Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Nisemonogatari, and Nisekoi.

No, just no... One of my fav. JPOP singers.. Even if Clara continues to sing but without Alice, it isn't gonna be ClariS...

But wish you best of luck on you guys separate journeys. And if possible, please come back... (I can't handle separations :/ )

I can't believe I just found this out. ClariS is a great duo. I was really surprised by their songs ever since OreImo. I was even more surprised to find out both were only in middle school.

Anyway, I wish both of them luck in all of their future endeavors. I know I'm only hoping at this rate, but I do wish they would get back together someday in the future.

Wow, really loved their songs in Oreimo and Nisekoi. Fingers crossed that she'll come back after finishing her studies.

Well, that is definitely bad news. I always enjoyed listening to their songs. But of course, I will be looking forward to Clara's solo debut! Wonder what she can do alone.

I have a feeling that you only really hide your faces for a reason, listening to them they did sound fairly old tbh.

That being said, I really loved some of their songs; namely Naisho no Hanashi (one of the monogatari OP's) and the one they did for Nisekoi.
It is always a shame seeing a band break up for whatever reason.
