Bakugan Wins Toy of the Year

"Bakugan Battle Brawlers" Battle Pack Series won Toy of the Year Award at Toy Fair 2009 held in New York. Toy Fair is the largest international toy trade show in North America. Bakugan Toy was produced by SEGA TOYS and a Canadian company Spin Master.

The second season "Bakugan: New Vestroia" will be aired in US and Canada from April.

I can't find anything about a Japanese air date. All the info I've found just says that the dub is set for spring '09, which, as you've made quite clear, is the only version you're going to watch anyway. So be happy with that. ;]

Bakugan is just plain awful. Toy of the Year? I think not.
Anime fails too. I like Skyress, but that's about it.

I remember I tried to watch that show when it first aired, but I got bored after about seven or so episodes. Regardless, I never thought the toys would be that popular. Just seems like a rip off combination of Yu-gi-oh and Beyblade to me.
