Game 'Sengoku Musou' Getting Anime Adaptation for March 2014

It was announced at the "Sengoku Musou" 10th Year Anniversary Announcement Event that the game "Sengoku Musou" will be animated and be broadcasted on TV in March 2014 as one hour special. The title is "Sengoku Musou SP: Sanada no Shou." The anime adaptation is to celebrate the 10th year anniversary, and the content centers around the final battle of Ueda Castle. It will also be included in Blu-ray form in the "Anime Box" and "Treasure Box" versions of the PS3 game Sengoku Musou 4, to be released on March 20, 2014. More information regarding the anime will be announced later.

OVA huh.

Would've preferred Sangoku Musou one (okay a bit biased there because I prefer the Three Kingdoms setting to Sengoku era) but will probably watch.

Just a TV Special? So it's pretty much like an OVA. And it's a game adaptation. I'll probably skip this.

Will watch. But tbh, I'm more interested if the SW4 game will ever make it to the west. I played the *bleep* out of SW2 and loved it :D

well Sengoku Basara is more than action-like-magic and adding some Mecha in the series thus the situation is not realistic at all.. But Sengoku Musou is more like more swordplay..

not my cup of tea. And after seeing BlazB lue, I'm not sure I want to watch another game adaption anymore........

I enjoyed the Sengoku Basara anime, so I hope this is similar.

Really popular game in Japan, too bad it's not getting a TV series, but I'll check out the OVA. :)

i like a Sengokusho musou anime more cause then i could get use to shinbai's new seiyuu [ orochi ulitmate has not help me]

I thought I saw 'Sengoku Rance' for a second, but I was unfortunately mistaken. I'll keep an eye out for this adaptation anyway! Thank you.
