JoJo's Biological Adventure

For a recent publication of the prestigious science journal Cell, two of the authors behind the issue's featured article, Dr. Mitsutoshi Setou and Dr. Hiroshi Ageta, requested that Mangaka Hirohiko Araki (Baoh, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Steel Ball Run) illustrate the magazine's cover, which both the Mangaka and publishers agreed to. The article in question deals with the discovery of the SCRAPPER protein, which helps regulate the body's nervous system, and whose benefits include research into Alzheimer's and strokes.

Araki's artistic depiction, "With the scientific direction of Drs. Setou and Ageta," was published as follows:
