According to the Tweet of Fujima Takuya, the third season of Dog Days was announced at a live event Flonya Festival 2012.

Ahhh~
Just finished S2, and I gotta say that I'm glad this is going to happen.
... mostly because S2 felt a little like an in-between season.

With S2, Dog Days seemed to miss out on some of the Drama that S1 had with the demon attack and such.

All that aside, I'd like to see a longer season in S3, and maybe follow Nanoha's example with a longer time-skip between seasons.
I'd like to see this romantic question answered, and maybe see how many (if any) of our Heroes decide to live in their respective Kingdoms for good. (kinda like Nanoha deciding to live in the magical world)

Hmmm seven arcs is already wrapping up for mushibugyo. The other nanoha movie is I guess is beginning. They must have already finished this and will be slated for winter next year I hope. It will be too far to drag it further.

Because people actually pay for it by buying the DVD/BD boxes of the last season. As I'm sure you are getting your anime free on the net like 99% of the community, I find it kinda hilarious that you actually have something to complain about.

It's like going in a restaurant, steal food and then going to complain to the chief that you do not like the taste of the food you just stole.

While I agree Spice and Wolf deserves a 3rd season.. even that wouldn't come close to covering the awesomeness that is contained in the remaining ~13 novels.

Don't get me wrong, I still want it to happen.. but unless they condense it a LOT.. or skip things.. either way, the novels should be read by all fans of this wonderful series.

That, and Dog Days is a good show as well. Try not to rain on everyone's parade out of jealousy. It's a little bit shameful if we S&W fans aren't a little more mature about things. :)

really looking forward to this! Dog Days is a nice change of pace compared to most stories where if there is action then things have to get really shitty. a bit of suspense is good, but this is comforting for me to watch! makes even someone like me feel happy!
