Actually, it's one of better anime that came out last season. And the only thing bad about chara design is Furuya's face.

I put on-hold all my spring anime, but let me talk about the sales anyway:

*1, 8,918 Haiyore! Nyaruko-san

Nice! This show was very nice! And it will get a next season yay!

*2, 8,896 Hyouka

I need to keep watching but so far, beside the animation, this isn’t very impressive

*5, 4,698 Natsuiro Kiseki

Can I cry now? How come to this show to rank that high? D:

I still have to see the best part of the show.

Not that bad. But could have done better.

Yes this was only some random moe blobs but...I liked it...And I hoped for it to get better sales...

WOW! This was actually a surprise, I didn’t expect them to do THIS bad. I don’t know about the shows second half but useless it ruins everything those to deserve 3k more than Natsuiro deserves its 4.6k LOL

I'm pretty sure Nazo no Kanojo X will surpass 4000 next week. Until today it was out of stock in lots of shops so I'd take these numbers with a grain of salt.

Also to say if it is a success or not, why don't look at Hoods numbers?

I could see Muv Luv staying this high. Its already a very popular franchise with an established fanbase, combining hot girls and mecha. Seems like a recipe for success to me.

And whatever Evangelion may or may not be to you, "generic" ought to be one of the last descriptions applied to it. Maybe I could understand the reaction if his #1 anime were, like, Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi (which I like btw, but would never ever defend as being particularly "unique") or something. But "You like Evangelion so you're a hypocrite for trashing Sankarea" just makes me go "...Wha? o_O"

I don't mean to specifically defend motrya either ("is simple bad and generic show" is pretty lame/unhelpful reasoning) but I just find the comparisons people choose to make when attacking or defending shows to be so very strange.

Hmmm, i can say one thing.I can't help but get angry and annoyed when people talk about shows i like, like its trash, especially when they love anime that its overrated as hell (IMO).I guess that's just being immature, eh.I don't regret it though, if he wouldnt say anything, or something light like ''its in my opinion not a good show, but yea, it's just my opinion'' i wouldnt say a shit.But when i see someone going ''Its a bad show, terrible, im not surprised it didnt sell well'' im going rage.

Agreed. I'm hoping they both atleast got boosts in manga sales.

Chihayafuru sold just as low yet it's getting a 2nd season because of the huge boost it got in manga sales.

I'm sure that the OAD being in Volume 9 of Nozo no Kanojo X when it comes out in August will also boost the manga sales.
