OVA of To Love-ru Darkness To Precede TV Series

According to Jump SQ19 magazine, an OVA of To LOVE-Ru Darkness was announced to be released on August 17th followed by the recently announced TV series. The OVA consists of three short episodes featuring Momo, Mikan and Haruna. The three extra episodes of the original manga titled "Prologue", "Pollen Plan" and "Body touch?" will be animated.

Not impossible but Motto to love-ru only got 12 episodes and darkness does not have that much Material so unless they somehow got a hold of enough funding to afford or even warrant extension through filler episodes. So most likely it will just be 12 episodes.

I kinda wish they would hold off on the anime until the manga finishes (even though that is going to be a while) because then they could just animate the entire thing. I mean unless they plan to make their own ending or found out from the author when he would end an arc they are going to have to stop the anime mid story.

But either way I am looking forward to this.

Just only one OVA episode... There are much of bonus chapters - enough for 2-3 OVA series.

TLR Darkness is one of the greatest ecchi manga EVER!

It is so well done with amazing artwork that I fear that the anime will not do justice.

Oh well, regardless, I'm excited.

your aware theres only 19 chapters(20 in 2 weeks minus the sub chapters). its most likely going to get the 11-13 episode treatment

I hardly ever read manga, I got only 3 manga on my list, but hundreds of anime on my list.I love the first season of To Love-ru as must as I do the OVAs and second season. So it wouldn't hurt my feelings any if they made some episodes that are anime only stories like they did with the first season of To Love-ru. .

your aware theres only 19 chapters(20 in 2 weeks minus the sub chapters). its most likely going to get the 11-13 episode treatment
