According to the store window advertisement of the first volume of "Black Lagoon" novel, the production of its third season was announced. The advertisement only tells the decision of the production. The airing schedule is unknown.

I got a line on the upcoming Black Lagoon OVA. The series will go on sale in Japan on July 17 on DVD and Blu-ray, and will be titled 'Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail'. Here's the link from AnimeNation to confirm:

You do realise that they're entirely different mediums with entirely different fanbases, don't you?

A lot of people don't like manga. Anime is superior in most aspects as far as raw entertainment value goes; you can sit back and watch it, no flipping through pages. There's music, voices, colour, motion. With an action series like this, it certainly adds to the enjoyment of it to see the gunfights animated, along with the explosions and all the other exciting stuff.

I don't think nudity is necessary for this story, either. That'd make it too hollywood. Who needs T&A when you have awesome action going on?

You guys DO all realise there is a manga that is well past the point of the second season don't you?

Oh, and it's better than the anime too, the anime, even though being just short of adults only, censors out the nudity that's in the series (seriously, wtf people?)

i hope the info on wikipedia is good and we all want tension between them but i want even more tense and in season 5,6,7,8(i dont want it to end)...i want to see them a big happy family :))))

I'm a little iffy about a Revy Rock relationship...we've all gotten used to the tension between them by now. Not to say I wouldn't mind seeing it.
Nevertheless, August cannot come fast enough...

i read many topics about ppl who dont want a romance betwen Revy and Rock ...i dont understand them they think if that happens the action will change i dont think so and i hope in this new season they will get even closer ...
