New TV Anime of Haiyore! Nyaruko-san Announced

According to GA Bunko, a new TV anime of Haiyore! Nyaruko-san was announced. The production studio is Xebec. A short flash anime series was aired last winter.

Ok... it seems it was just a misunderstanding...but I know getting a 2nd season has a high chance.

For now, I'll assume there is no confirmation yet so I won't get my hopes high.

That's the date of the tweet - it's July 10th, not October 7th (7/10 vs 10/7, depending on what date format you use). 月 = month

Is it? I doubt it would be all over anime forums right now if people only mistook a tweet date. I'm gonna assume its real until I get confirmation otherwise.

The 7th makes sense too, since it would be the same late Sunday Night/early Monday morning timeslot the original had.

Nyaruko, a formless Cthulhu deity of chaos (Nyarlathotep) who can take on the shape of a seemingly ordinary silver-haired girl.

Just goes to prove that, in Japan, almost every deity, god, historical figure etc. ends up as a (preferably high school) girl.

Mahiro Yasaka is a normal high school student...

I expected nothing less.

Jokes aside, I don't think this is my cup of tea. Though, I haven't checked the source material, so I can't be certain. Perhaps it could work if parody is good quality, otherwise I'll skip it.
