According to the official website, an OVA of A-Channel was announced. Details of the new anime will be revealed later.

I hope there's a second season, it was too short for me and the characters were growing on me..

I liked the Specials than the series itself. Hope this OVA turns out more interesting^^

Because it's not the exact same. Similar archetypes and situations do not lead to identical interactions. I for one don't need anything radically different in each one of these shows - I just need something I enjoy watching. So what if that means yet another culture festival episode? It's something many people find enjoyable no matter how many times they see it, because each show puts its own small spin on things. When I watch Run and Tooru, I'm not watching Yui and Mugi, or Yuno and Miyako, or Akari and Kyouko. They're all different despite some similarities, and I appreciate and enjoy seeing familiar events through different eyes.

They have no place in a show like this. Nobody is watching A Channel for angst or drama. You don't like slice of life shows (and this is one that actually fits the definition, unlike so many other shows the phrase is applied to), fine. But you don't need to act so shocked that other people do. Or that we could like more than one "cute girls in school" show.

My apologies, at other times I would have realized the obvious argument to my statement, but at the moment I am ridiculously sleepy and am prone to rants both confusing and unfortunately antagonizing, both of which happen without outward intent. I must thank you too, when I was writing that, while I didn't realize the obvious argument I did expect comments of "rage less" and others to that like and it is refreshing to see that the first response to it wasn't like that.

Highly doubt it. A Channel isn't that kind of show.

I do hope they at least have fanservice like the beach episode, though. You're right it won't go so far as to have nudity however
