Rank means absolutely nothing whatsoever. Only actual sales matter. This was a slow week (big weeks are at the end of the month), so 1.3k DVDs can easily be the 6th ranked anime DVD. In some weeks that would be even higher.

That said, it's a really good show, far more competently done than it'll ever get credit for, and it's a shame (but by absolutely no means a surprise) it's not selling better. Especially given how dirt cheap the first volume is.

They might have spent their money on that Baby princess event showing of the OVA. You also know that with iDOLMASTER in the anime fray, many are saving up for that.

Twin Angel won't be getting a third season. It's from JC Staff + Rie Tsundere.

Sengoku Otome, how, it was only above average at best. Nice to Qwaser on the list but S3 is unlikely giving those sales, at least Denpa Onna has more and could get a S2.

Very nice, very nice. AnoHana is right up at the top where it should be. Now somebody license it in America already so I can get it on DVD.

Aria... its JC Staff with Kugyuu playing a tsundere. Those are very rarely not solid sellers

Yay~ Anohana is the top! Was unexpected that Denpa Onna is that low.

It could be because it is cheaper, as it is only 1 episode for the first volume. Or maybe people in Japan prefer it to those below. Who knows.

First volume of Qwaser 1 also had 3 episodes vs this one having two, and will end up selling about 4k, while first series sold 6k. 2nd series almost always do worse

Its about expected results, I'd say.
