TV Anime of Manga Chihayafuru Announced

According to Mainichi News, the manga Chihayafuru was announced to be getting a TV anime adaptation. It will start this October.

Manga Chihayafuru has won the 2nd Manga Taisho in 2009 and the 35th Kodansha Manga Award in 2011.

Didn't start the anime expecting much, but it's now one of my top anime, even though I've only watched 2 episodes so far. It's really exciting when they play karuta. XD

Well, if it won the Kodansha award, it's definitely watch-worthy. Was going to read the manga eventually, but I guess I'll watch the anime first and continue where it leaves off. Hopefully, a good studio does it.
