First of all, it doesn't list how many chapters, but after searching and then reading, I can confirm there are 180 lengthy, fully colored chapters.

Like another review said, it is a little slow going at the start, you're not sure who to trust (due to multiple characters pov) and it's really a lot of important information. You really get an outline of the lore in those first 20 chapters- but don't worry, bc towards chapter 165~175 the lore is still very relevant.

The FL is admittedly a little annoying, but around the midpoint her character does a total 180. In fact, there were several moments ... the last 30-60 chapters where it's hard to believe she is the same, naïve girl that she used to be. The ML is ofc stoic, but based upon the lore it checks out and his stoicism is quite adorable as the entire story he only has eyes for her.

The most enjoyable thing about this story, is just when you feel like you know what's gunna happen next, something else occurs. Nothing outrageous, I never once was annoyed by it, instead it definitely pushed me to read as much as possible, as fast as possible (I read this in under 24 hours, albiet on only a few hours of sleep, it was just so binge worthy imho).

My biggest complaint would also be, because you never know what's gunna happen next, the ending may be a little confusing or even seem rushed, my initial reaction was disbelief ngl- but it does end in the mc's getting together and character's you have grown to love get what they deserve.

The only thing I'd really advise readers of is the ML is in a child's body until the last 30 chapters (it's explained why in the first 20 chapters). But he doesn't look like a child while she looks like an adult. The artist/author did a very good job of making the mcs look youthful vs adults at appropriate times. Otherwise it was a great story, so much so, it's been days and I cannot find something that compares.

This is going to be a short -spoiler free- review, mainly because of the fact that nobody did a review on it gets on my nerves somewhat.

My first opinion? Its nice.
This isn't a mindblowing piece of work but it's nice.

The story is a bit/alot more unique compared to what i have seen over the time i have been reading it really is different but I wont talk about it much because there is a small synopsis if you scroll up ^. But can i just say the story or rather not much gets moving till chapter 20+ i guess? Maybe less.

The artwork its nice in ... my opinion. Sometimes there is the slight error here and there but i really like it as well as the range of expressions. I really like it, quite cutesy~.

Character, character. I honestly don't know how to review characters i guess. They are quite funny (personally) and i just like them overall. No further explanation really needed probably?

Overall, i really enjoy reading this and i will be looking forward to reading more chaps in the future, it is a nice read to pass the time, you just need to get through the first few chapters before it kicks off but i'm sure you can do it! I personally find it quite funny from time to time and i would recommend it to anyone really.

Summary of my review:
You'll highly enjoy this if you enjoy romance& if you like yanderes and possessive male leads. The female lead is extremely kind and soft-hearted, and even though I love her, it gets on my nerves sometimes because... well, read it and you'll know. As you read on the plot starts making sense, and it makes your overall experience better, and it will break your heart, knowing Kailak's situation.

You will also enjoy it if you're an angst enthusiast that LOVES pain. Because as you progress through the story, a lot will start bubbling up.


Story - 8
I am a ... person who likes the romance genre. A lot. So the romance is what reeled me in from the start.
After a while, the plot starts to deepen, and that's how things started making a lot of sense, and soon I wasn't just into the romance anymore. Of course, the romance was the main reason why I love this manhwa so much, but the plot just made it better.

Art - 8
It's the normal manhwa art. Full colored etc. It's really nothing special, but the way the author created the character design (clothes, eyes etc) was amazing. It truly fit the character's personalities.

Character - 8
Characters were beautifully designed and drawn, as stated above. I really love all of them (so far) except for Prince (I don't even bother with his name because he's horrible but I know it starts with an L lol). The characters I thought I'd hate, I began to love. And the characters I thought had potential, I began to hate. Names are a tiny bit difficult to remember but it gets easier as you go on.

Enjoyment - 9
Let's just say I read all 140 chapters non-stop. It was a binge fest.
I regret it now though because I realised that there's a whole whopping 40 CHAPTERS NOT TRANSLATED I BEG Of YOU, TRANSLATORS, PLEASE, I NEED MORE.

This manhwa made me feel happiness, giddiness, sadness, hate, and heartbreak.
All in all, it was a rollercoaster.
Even if was painful, I enjoyed it.
