Naoki Urasawa's Monster was definitely influenced by MW. Both Johan Liebert in Monster and Michio Yuki are highly intelligent, manipulative, attractive, and dangerous sociopaths. And the reason both committed horrendous acts without conscience - or the justification they use - comes from unnatural origins. Both stories also have the 'good' character, playing a good vs. evil cat-and-mouse game and being influenced negatively by Johan or Yuki.

Both are mature works from Tezuka-sensei. Both are to some degree character studies of deeply flawed individuals. There are scenes of homosexuality in each, though much more in MW.

Yuki and God's Child protagonist are evil bastards capable of killing and raping without showing any emotion. These protagonists also share a hatred for society and while in MW we get the motivation for the MC's behavior, in God's Child the protagonist is just pure evil in the shape of a person. It's also worth noting they both engage in homosexual acts hence the Yaoi tags. Worry not, it's nothing that happens too often but they have interesting origins. Both stories revolve around these sadistic protagonists and all of the atrocities they commit. So if you're into stories with serial killers devoid of emotions as protagonists  read more

Devilman was a cautionary tale against war. MW also adds to this topic through its main characters, specifically Yuki, a man whom at a young age was exposed to government experimental gas called MW, causing him to develop a psychopathic personality. In both manga, I found myself asking, will humanity still exist at the end of this story? This manga was also released in the 70's, so if you love that 70's art style, I would definitely recommend this manga.

As pointed out on Wikipedia, Yuki from MW has quite a few similarities to Johan (ofcourse, Johan doesn't play a big role in Another Monster to the best of my knowledge but still). One of these similarities would happen to be the fact that both Johan & Yuki are superbly skilled in manipulating people and crossdressing.

both are by the ultimate god of manga/anime tezuka-sama - both have dark psychological themes - both will leave you feeling seriously disturbed and changed forever - two of the best seinen ever written and two of my personal favorites!!!

Both of these are darker "Gegika" works from master manga creator Osamu Tezuka. Both feature psychological story lines about the dark side of humanity.

Both our masterpiece works by Osamu Tezuka. Also, they are both psychological stories that deal with the human mind and psyche.
