Another Monster: The Investigative Report is practically a recap in the form of a novel. Now don’t go away yet thought, because it might be the best way to do a recap I’ve seen so far.

You see, it’s a sort of fictional documentary… a report, as the title suggests. We get to follow a reporter who is trying to investigate the horrifying Johan case in fear that there might be another monster like him. Through this investigation he meets and interviews many of the characters from the original storyline of Monster.

Mixed Feelings
I wonder why they won’t publish this book in other languages. It surely has some answers for your questions about Monster series. It reveals more background stories and what-was-going-on-while-you-weren’t-theres which you can’t find out just by going back pages. Although I have to admit that it was hard to read a book full of letters, it's worth reading.
