Preliminary Spoiler

I'm not entirely sure why I feel the need to review everything I encounter on this website, but I feel the need to review everything I encounter on this website.

Bleach is a classic, right? I finished off the manga a while ago, so I'll try and review it the best I can. The story is on point. Not a moment is wasted, which is more than I can say for the anime. The character development that's seen is insane, and the attention to detail by Tite Kubo is very impressive. Hints to Ichigo's future can be found at the very beginning of the manga, ...

*Spoilers TOWARDS THE END*

I loved reading the final arc of Bleach, but the thing that frustrated me was the lack of emotion that the final villain had.

The art is awesome, the characters are also awesome (Although they definitely deserve alot more detail and development, there is just so many of them...). I will probably end up purchasing the Character books due to the fact that I don't think I got the fill I needed from the manga or anime.

I want to know what happened in details that were not provided, and hope that to some degree certain things can be wrapped up.

****Spoilers but not in ...

Bleach (Manga) 9/10/10/10/10

First things first. My "reviews" system is explained on a blog entry. Which can be found through my profile.
------

Oeh.. now that I've re-read Manga... figured to write a review about my all time favorite battle shounens. (I've seen Anime total of 4 times including the movies.. but re-read because... Anime final arc is still not animated and I wanted refresher of final arc)

✦Story
As it's extremely long running battle shounen, it would be too tedious to make more of "detailed" review. So to put it simply. It has a very battle, drama, tragedy rich storytelling that also has spice of character relationships and even ...

Now I'm not going to be doing a review about the entirety of the bleach manga, just a certain part. That part in particular is the thousand war blood war arc. To me every page of this saga was an absolute masterpiece. I'll try my best to not give any spoilers seeing as it'll be over a whole year until it's animated.

This saga starts off a bit slow in the first volume and doesn't really look that good. But Jesus Christ does it pick up...and quick too. By the second volume everything goes up to a hundred. A full on war in the soul ...

To start off with Bleach I think its a good manga in the beginning; it had a lot of potential and was doing a good job in my opinion in the beginning. I started watching it first I believe on Toonami back when it was late and on adult swim, so wanted to get into the manga.

In my opinion if it had ended possibly after the Hueco Mundo arc it possibly could have ended on a better note. From the beginning till the end of Hueco Mundo arc everything in a sense kind of lines up together and although the art work was a bit ...

If you like a mix of mystery, death, and action, Bleach is for you! Tite Kubo’s manga, Bleach follows young 15 year old Ichigo Kurosaki as he bumps into Rukia Kuchiki, who claims to be a Soul Reaper- she says she sends Hollows, evil spirits, back to Hell, and lost spirits to the Soul Society, where you go after death; and Ichigo discovers what it’s really like after death!

The storyline itself is mind-blowing in some cases, like at the end of the manga itself, when we find out what had really happened to Ichigo’s mother, Masaki Kurosaki. At other points, we need a good ...

Bleach was one of the first ever shonen ive finished. The manga is so good and besides the soundtrack in the anime, it is better by alot.
Tite Kubo's art is breathtaking and simple yet sleek. the character designs are all so unique and just eyecandy to look at. He takes inspiration from so many parts of the world, like Spain and Germany. The foreshadowing in this series is one of the best. I love the giant cast of characters and all their unique personalites. The antagonists of this story are all masterfully done and you truly feel terrified of them. There is so much ...

*Slight spoilers ahead

To be honest, I started Bleach because it was part of the legendary shonen group of "Big Three". I always thought that it would be the worse of these (in fact I think that objectively it is), but I had never imagined that it would be such an entertaining and cool ghost-fighting story. It actually end up being my favourite amongst the Big Three.

1-One positive point:
One of the things I liked the most about Bleach is the storytelling. It's true that most of the time the pacing is needlessly slow, but it gets conpensated with the lots of fights and ease to read. ...

An EPIC storyline!!
I really cant imagine who would not have heard of Bleach but for those of you out there who havent heres a quick taste of the world of Kurosaki Ichigo, a 15 year old boy who has the abilty to see ghosts. His world is turned upside down when a Shinigami (Death God) Kuchiki Rukia is sent from Soul Sociaty to take care of some Hollows who are causing havoc in the real world.
A mix of martial arts and epic fights and many many laughs creates one of the most famous animes known, right up there with Naruto and One Piece.
This ...

Bleach. Use it only on your clothes, and not on your eyes or mind. Bleach WAS a good manga/anime until the end of the SS arc. After that, a plethora of sudden and raw characters are introduced - no exposition asked - and they bring with them their "interesting" plot devices. Except they aren't interesting: they're repetitive and confusing. To top it all off, the protagonist becomes emasculated after the end of said arc; all his training and exercise go to waste as these sudden entrants all seem to be Goliath to his David, except that this time, David has no more rocks. Almost ...

If I could sum Bleach up with one phrase, it would be "wonderful art, terrible story."

I'll start off with the good news: seven years later, Tite Kubo has not sacrificed a single bit of artwork quality for Bleach. One of the best things about Bleach is it's imaginative character design. No two characters have the same fighting style, and it really is amazing the level of detail that goes into shading, considering most mangas with over one billion kazillion chapters like Bleach tend to sacrifice art quickly in order to churn out more chapters with less effort.

But, that is sadly the end to ...

Bleach has been one of the most excellent works ever created. It encompasses the standard shounen aspects and grounds them in a world full of enchanching characters and invested storylines, that combined together create a magnificient environment. The main storyline is centered around the soul society, which is the goverment of the afterlife and the shinigami are responsible to oversee the balance between the spirit world and the regular world. One of the greatest aspects of the setting is the group of individuals known as the Espada, who have some of the most well made gothic aesthetics, both in their normal appearances but also in ...

Straight 10s , right across the board. Its rare that a manga could be this great, you might be thinking. Funny thing is.... what you say is true. This ranking only holds true to the first 20 volumes of Bleach. After that, its power level bullshit, plotholes galore, and Kubo trolling himself to the bank each week. Having said that, I still read it every week and get some enjoyment out of it (even if its not GOOD enjoyment).

I say, only read this if you don't mind having your whole soul crushed after being completely enthralled by a witty tale of humor, action, and ...

When I was still starting out reading manga, one of the first series that I picked up was Bleach. At the time, I thought pretty well of it and hoped to see it develop further to better things. Unfortunately, the series failed to deliver on that more times than I care to mention.

STORY:

Bleach follows the generic shonen manga formula: Fight. Fight fight fight. Fight. Not to say that there's anything wrong with simplicity or fighting manga in general, just that there needs to be more substance in the plot and characters in that case. The problem with Bleach is that it doesn't make up for ...

Not much can be added to everything that has been said about Bleach as a series, and many people have written much better and longer analysis on this series. Bleach did something for me that rarely happens with books I read, it got my exited. The best way I could compare it is how hyped Erwin's speech in AOT makes you, Bleach got me to that same level with one line from the villain (if you've read till the end you know what line I'm talking about). This was the first time that I actively sought out a manga and I was not disappointed. Knowing ...

Bleach is a joke of a manga with absolutely no redeeming qualities besides the fact that it is mindlessly "entertaining"

The manga is flawed in just about every way possible and its actually getting kind of pathetic to read right now.
I mean, I can't name think of a positive thing about it(the whole mindlessly "entertaining" is another way of calling it stupid).

The characters are generally one dimensional and receive little to no actual growth or development. There are a few characters with some depth(Byakuya for instance) but most characters are shallow and their entire character analysis can be summed up with in just a few ...

I love the first arc.
Story:
The story wasn’t phenomenal but it served its purpose and with a villain of the week style continuity you could easily enjoy a few chapters whenever you like.

Art:
It was awkward to read it at first because of the unusual proportions, but after I got over that It began to shine. Tite kubo uses hatching in a way I’ve never seen in manga before. I could feel the bright, but somehow faded, colors come off its grayscale pages.

Character:
The characters are ...
