Yeah I agree, I think the zone is a cool concept but it also feels kinda cheap, like does any kind of training matter when you just need to ascend on the racetrack, but I will say the zone does make for some really cool scenes in the anime.

Like people said here the zone is kind of overbearing. Clearly it's not Unique skill becz Oguri indeed used that before.
But the way it was explained mainly timelapse explains how so much thing happens in last spurt and for so long.

Although I kind of sense it what gonna happen , but looking forward to Arima Kinen the biggest race to end the season.

BTW, I wonder what sort of Test they do for the Trainer exam... is it literally just about what different routines Trainers needs to do for different Uma distance races? or is it on the rules of different race tracks?

Cause if it's similar to a Car License exam, it would be about the rules of the Road and barely anything about the Car itself. Which in Uma Race term, it would mean the exam is about Race Tracks and only a few about Umas themselves. But a Car isn't a living being that requires as much maintaince as a living Uma. So it might also feel like the exam might be more on the Umas than the Tracks. Hmm... do they do exams for RL horse Jocky's to ride horses? or RL Trainers do exams too?

Since from how they're talking about it, it sounds like the UmaMusu Trainer exam (for national level) is extremely hard.

Also, Creek do be doing that Heart Throbbing vibe. (It's more interesting in-game and manga, as the anime's the only one with a female trainer, the others have male trainers, so it's basically Creek rizzing up her male trainer, there 's also some points of time when Creek tried to invite her male trainer into the onsen together, lol) (in-game is male, cause the trainer rejected the offer, as a female trainer would have just taken it as there would be no issue with 2 females going to onsen)

BTW... how much does it cost to rent out an entire race track (for an entire day)?... that must have costed thousands of dollar... Tracen Academy's salary must be loaded. (unless somehow just being in 3rd in a G1 still gives you thousands of dollar rewards?)

Tho, I guess it's just renting the Tracks itself and not the entire building, as we've seen bunch of people apparently working in offices above the Tracks. Like Rudolf, what's she even there? I thought she would be at Tracen Academy...
