Hopefully this isn't true (I always have doubts about these "leakers" who just say the most safe shit imaginable like "Witch Watch will have an anime adaptation" like no shit plus you don't mention anything actually substantive like the release window or studio). If the past few years have shown, while 2 consecutive cours doesn't guarantee the success of an anime, it sure fucking helps. Demon Slater, Jujutsu Kaisen, Frieren, Dungeon Meshi, Tokyo Revengers, The Apothecary Diaries, just to name a few but all of them are some of the biggest anime in the past 5 years and all of them were 24+ episodes. Meanwhile a show like Chainsaw Man was actively hurt by being only 12 episodes.

Beyond that though with how the Dandadan anime is paced thus far episode 7 should conclude the 2nd arc, if they keep that pace then the third arc would conclude on ep 10. I guess it's not impossible but it would be very weird and anticlimactic to end the season during the introduction of a new arc (the cursed house arc). I've personally never seen an anime do that before.

Ultimately I'm half skeptical half coping but all in all I hope this fraud is proven wrong.

The studio of Witch watch was actually leaked a week before the reveal if I remember correctly and Sugoi is one of the most accurate anime leak source. So this is now pretty much confirmed.

@BlizzardBoy026 yeah same guy who said for season 2 of grand Blue I am still waiting the official confirmation so no leak are not trustable. Leak get their weight when it's officially announced until then it's just someone talking to the wind especially that one since by not giving his source you can't back track the information which is essential.

@DiamondIsCrash chainsawman isn't as popular as the other series because there is nothing that makes it stand out

@JaysonNnN Why should I believe anyone whose wrong 10% of the time? If a leaker is wrong even one time you should question that shit? How can one/two people have seemingly unlimited access to every big anime scoop from every studio? Or maybe they just make incredibly safe educated guesses and people who eat these leaks up have no critical thinking skills?

Let me try it out.

Popular Weekly Shonen Jump series "Kagurabachi" has been green-lit for anime production! Will take several years to produce but please be excited!

There, am I a leaker now?

You know what? I went to check, they didn't make any fake leaks, no mistakes, everything was true or turned out to be true over time, and we're talking about production/staff/cast said in advance, not just "such manga will be animated", no mistakes for 2 years. I think we can call them reliable. You have the right to not like leaks, but you have to be objective, they are reliable leakers.

+ CSM was not hurt by being only 12 episodes, beacause Reze Arc is perfect for a movie and going to adapt Reze in episodes is not enough to have S1 24 episodes.

When do they typically announce the episode count of an upcoming anime? One month out? A few weeks out?

Hey @deg . Can you share if the animators are overworked from this studio when they animated season 1(and when they will animate S2) ? If they haven't I won't watch the anime adaptation.

Hardly, because they leaked the Mieruko-chan Season 2 which was a fake announcement and they even acknowledged that they are just like The Onion.
Also
1) the post is unbelieveable due to 2-cour means 2 consecutive seasons or a slashed one into Part 1 and 2 with a season in-between. In this case this would be 2 seasons apart while the 2025 Spring season is not even filled.
2) a second cour is not a second season, so using "aka" is also further makes it fake.
3) If tomorrow they announce No Game No Life 2nd Season, would you say for all the news and fake announcements ever since 2014 that their "leaks" were also true? (No, you wouldn't call those. Even when those lies eventually become true.)
