| Something like Fumetsu no Anata e's opening. That song's genre does NOT fit for that anime at all. I feel like they put it there just because, or because the artist paid the producers just for their song to be there (something that could make sense as they used that song for BOTH seasons). |

This same opening is played at the beginning of episode 1 and at the end of episode 10 and yet it has a completely different meaning both times. The mood and meaning of the opening changes with every episode just like the anime does. As for an own suggestion I'd say the Serial Experiment Lain opening doesn't fit the anime, not saying it's a bad song and I absolutely associate them together but it could be replaced with any other song and probably fit better. |

| Asobi Asobase's opening is intentionally misleading, the op is basically telling you it's a typical cute girls in high school show. Which is absolutely not what the show is about. It's like Nichijou if the creators took Acid the night before making it. It's a zany, random off the wall comedy with bizarre jokes and even weirder facial expressions.. Much like Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro Chan. |

| That one actually fits with the whole "misleading you with it's cuteness" thing the series has. If anything, I would have gone more cutesy with it. Of course, they also kinda ruin that within the first few minutes of ep 1 from what I remember. |

| Most of these were already mentioned, but here are my picks. Intentionally made to not fit the anime thematic: Asobi Asobase: The typical "bait opening" of a CGDCT or a shoujo ai romance. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou: I'm pretty sure that they wanted an opening that sounded like one from a battle shounen. I was expecting at least one reference to classical music: Nodame Cantabile op 1 Takt-op: Ok, the whole anime is a bait, anyway Ao no Orchestra (Although the last two do have classsical music references in their endings, and Nodame has them in its 2nd and 3rd openings). Somewhat in the same line: Sakamichi no Apollon: I was expecting something jazzy Doesn't fit the thematic at all, period: Yakusoku no Neverland: especially op 1. Dororo op 1: having a shamisen and some traditional Japanese passages is not enough. That kind of contemporary trash music has nothing to do with a historical anime. Not that the AKG's op 2 fits it very well either, but at least it's good. Tower of God: just like the opening above, this stuff doesn't belong to a fantasy setting. The Rising of the Shield Hero, op 1 and 2: though, when you realize they're as bad as the anime itself, they somewhat fit ^^. This is how a fantasy-setting anime opening should sound: |

Happy go lucky OP in an arc about the revival of the ancient evil, featuring Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon of all things as the ultimate rainbow and sunshine monster. That's equivalent to, say, putting founding Eren as the symbol of peace. |
