| So i watch some dubbed anime, mostly sub but it does happen if it exceeds the original, and one thing i noticed is that a lot of eng dub voice actors are genuinely just not good people. For example, vic migogna, the pedo kingpin of mid 2000's anime who people fight tooth and nail to defend. On a lighter note, karen strasman who is a trump support and genuine anti vaxxer kek. There was this other one who got arrested for CP, but i forgot who. Japanese voice actors aren't exempt from this either, even though i'm sure we hear less of it because of japan covering shit up but also bakugo and rohan's va who cheated on their wives. And idk about other dubbing industries in other languages to speak about it. Lead in the texas water? Sensationalism? Language barriers? Let's discuss. |
