Demon slayer got the best character designs in new gen anime/manga

Anyways, I do somewhat agree with the new gen shonen thing. It does seem to be better then other new gen anime. I would have said that Bleach has better character design but its not new gen.
Btw I like the anime character design a bit more cause its more consistent. There are specific panels or pages or even covers where I like the manga design more but overall, the anime is just a lot more consistent in character design and it improves the inconsistency of design present in the manga.

To be honest even if you don’t like demon slayer you can’t tell me with a straight face that the character designs are ugly or bad, it has some of the best and most unique designs in the whole medium. Not only are the designs really creative and unique but each of them bears a meaning to it. For exemple gyutaro’s designs and his mark are all related to a certain disease which makes him very skinny and ugly and he is not the only one. Every demon or demon slayer has a design with meaning behind it, it be either their backstory or a character trait they have.
Gotouge is really a genius when it comes to character designs.

Btw this might be an unpopular opinion but I prefer the manga artstyle to the anime one, in the manga they feel more unique with different faces but the anime kinda makes them a bit generic with the round faces.
