| They censored Bocchi's design in the anime making her bust smaller and removing any nude or half nude scenes. First Scene being the bathing scene where bocchi is originally naked in the anime. In the anime she's wearing a swimsuit and most of the time her body is submerged in the water The second joke that they censored is the scene immediately after, bocchi changes into her underwear and starts the fan to get ill. During the whole scene we can see bocchi in her underwear with her bust out which has been nerfed in the anime. In the anime she's wearing her swimsuit and most of the time her upper body is not shown or making them massively smaller than the manga. The anime was sponsored by global billibilli china which is the youtube equivalent for china. So since they funded the show they asked for any nudity to be removed and to make bocchi's bust smaller. The japanese fanbase is also not happy with this decision since bocchi has her original deisgn in the manga and in the gacha game. |

| bilibili is the same company that co-produced/produced fan-service shows like Fire Force and Gleipnir. And they also aren’t a part of the production committee for Bocchi. I won’t deny that there is a possibility, but I also think that most anime adaptation of mangas tend to tone down the fan-service quite a bit, we even saw this with Vermeil in Gold, and bilibili had nothing to do with that show. |

But the show contained elements which didn't coincided with the ccp so the show got pulled last second, and has no airing in china. |

You are also calling people creeps for wanting to see fictional school girl characters with less clothing, yet the manga author has drawn for an anthology solely focusing on enjoying JC (middle schoolers) charms, and is also pretty prolific in her endeavors to draw big tits in general. Considering these points I think it's fair to say that designing and drawing Bocchi with huge tits was a very conscious decision for fanservice purposes (and her own preferences probably). |
| For once I'm thankful for them. This shouldn't be a fanservice show. There are shows like RPG Fudousan that focus on fanservice, for a character-driven show like Bocchi it would be completely out of place imo. |

| I think the changes made are all right. On one hand I won't mind the fan service, but on the other hand, changing some ecchi scenes will make it suitable for more markets and younger age groups. All this translates to more money, and in this case, increased popularity too. On top of it, I feel this kind of show doesn't need nudity to attract more viewers. |

| While I usually enjoy fanservice in anime, I don't think this series will gain anything by catering to it. The humour isn't dependent on sexual jokes at all, unlike Vermeil or Dress-up darling where I feel the fanservice would be more fitting. In fact, given how vitriolic some people get when they come across fanservice, I think changing those scenes makes the show palatable to more people. But I don't mind OP using this thread to show the changes made from manga to anime. |

| I wouldn’t have minded the fan service and I usually hate when they censor fan service, but this is a show where it doesn’t really matter if there isn’t. Censorship is fine for this show as it isn’t the main plot (unlike other shows this season *cough* Renai Flops *cough*). Since this anime isn’t ecchi, I don’t think we need any fan service… I don’t think it’s enough to make a big deal about. |
