Even with a typhoon, Bocchi's invited people of Kikuri (whom Seika recognizes as her college junior) and the 2 girls whom she gave out tickets for at her street concert, came as a godsend being her first fans. Bocchi definitely felt like a Super Saiyan feeling lols.

With the typhoon continuing to bellow down hard, the audience is few, but so are their perceptions of Kessoku Band being a nobody and not rather raking any interest in it. The first song just sounds like a fluke, disrespecting the hard work that they put into practice to play subpar-ly. That's when Bocchi just took charge unhinged, and they finally synced for the second song, delivering the quality expected.

Overall, Kessoku Band did decent, and celebrated in an Izakaya with Kikuri along as well, though her way of playing in a band has its qualms. For Bocchi, ordering food while relenting on Kita's aura, don't try too hard to be like somebody, and even worse, live the life of others having harsh lives and drinking their time away. That's how The Game of Life works, and Bocchi picturing herself this way is just sad. Though Ryo and Kita sandpapering Bocchi's face, well that felt different. Hilarious seeing Kita break herself with Ryo being sadistic too.

Nijika taking a breather with Bocchi, and there's no use trying to hide her online persona when she reflects it in real life. The former's dream of being in a band to follow after her sister's footsteps with the livehouse with the intention to make it famous, it has always been Bocchi breaking ground for all of them: Nijika, Ryo and Kita, and Bocchi resonates with making the band famous as well.

Having Bocchi around in Kessoku Band will move them further with her rock, she is Bocchi the Rock!

Just when I was thinking maybe they'll have to postpone the concert, Bocchi's invited people arrived and as always the girls' spirit was high but Bocchi hearing about her fans made her so happy. I was happy to see that. But, the concert didn't go very well. I felt so bad for them. It was like it was my own concert but then seeing Bocchi being a little confident made me so happy. I can't express how happy I was feeling at that moment. So proud of all of the girls. They did very well in their first concert.

The after-party was just as fun and Bocchi was being her usual self. LOL. Can't get enough of her. Also, got a little bit of heart-to-heart between Nijika and Bocchi and got to see a little bit of Nijika and her big sister. I love their dynamic. Long live, Kessoku Band. The new ED was great as well.

Godly episode again. The shitty adults gather, the "kita-! ikuyo-!" meme is born, Seika's smug face, Bocchi and Nijika's ship sails, backstory about Ijichi sisters, epic title drop. Bocchi's guitar in the live part tho, got goosebumps.
New song, new ending (Nijika vocals) both bangers!

I liked the part where Bocchi completely forgotten about all the tens of thousands of fans of hers on the internet who boosted her youtube channel just because the two girls she met for five and a half minutes told her they her fans. Way to go Bocchi, bright future ahead.

And don't blame these people, this is the level of interest that those all girl new age rock bands, that Japan has hundreds every new season, generate. But we have an anime magic on our side so thankfully it all turned good.

'Bocchi show us how you Rock! Bocchi the Rock!'

Kessoku band performed today. Today is the day of their live house show(with a typhoon at that).
Bocchi showed us how she Rock. she performed with her heart lifting the spirit of the band who played out of sync cuz' of nervousness.
and omfg! their new song is faqin amazing. heck all of their so is fire

one thing I note tho. I know it supposed to be a cute-sy scene(the last part) but throwing that big expectations to a person who is a extreme introvert and have social anxiety in this case Bocchi, is not a good thing tbh (speaking from experience)....

Bocchi has meta introversion? Wait, who's throwing this thing around?? Look how she did at the concert, saving the whole ass performance on her own.

Performing in front of people change her persona, I'm dead sure now.

Were my expectations for this episode met? No, because they made it excellent in a much different way than I expected. What I expected was a great musical performance, and while we didn't exactly get that this episode, Bocchi lived up to her name "GuitarHero", literally! She was the reason the performance was salvaged, and with that, it inspired a lot of hope for Nijika. I'm glad we got to know her real dream, which is to make Starry a bustling and famous club, because her sister created this club just for her, at least in her eyes.

This was an especially meaningful episode because it captured the toughness that aspiring bands and musicians have to go through, whether it's unexpected weather, or poor band morale. Bocchi was the hero this episode, and she's an inspiration for all involved in Kessoku Band. Keep rocking, everyone!

A lot went wrong from the weather to the initial struggles and nervousness shown as a group during their first official performance since they were not on the same page, but ultimately, that's a part of the journey to the top and Bocchi somehow saved Kessoku Band there by having the confidence to pull out a solo on her own and rejuvenate the few audience members that were there. Luckily all ended up being fairly well for them in a rocky first concert as a whole. Nijika figured out who Bocchi really was but was still happy nonetheless to play by her side, and revealed some of her dreams too here in the process.

Overall, another really good episode. It's good seeing them make progress as a band and a couple people as individuals here. This show is really everything I was expecting and hoping from K-On back in 2017 before that one let me down completely. The music matters as much as the characters and interactions, and nothing feels wasted here. The drawings were a little rough overall but the performance was superbly animated and brought to life that the minor issues visually were more than made up from with that concert. The actual songs are listenable too, which helps a ton. Nice title drop there too at the very end as Nijika basically knights her as Bocchi the Rock there. I was kind of indifferent to Nijika in the past but it was nice seeing her work hard for both her dream as well as her sister's dreams too, both truly do care for each other a ton - especially considering their past circumstances. A pretty meaningful episode for the most part here, although I think there is an episode or two that I prefer more than this one.

Know what? I will be a bad person. Nijika with suspender and that oversized ribbon, wasnt convincing when saying to moustache Bocchi that is to dress seriously.

Bocchi pulling Kesoku Band, that's a thing I wanted to see.

Big chin Bocchi cant hurt you.

Finally the realization that Bocchi is guitarhero.

Nijika said the name of the series. Wow, wow,wow......wow.

In the end humans can't contend with nature after all. So drunk lady is an old friend of Nijika's sis huh. Their first song were a mess because of the syn issues but the second was far better. Hitori taking the lead to stage that comeback was amazing. Kikuri the drunk bass player huh. Oddly I can see Ryou be attracted to her even without her stating otherwise. That really was a grim future that Hitori imagined though after seeing the two salarymen. Kikuri and the manager's advice to them was sound. You wouldn't get anywhere in life if you keep worrying about how you do. I wonder though was wanting to create a stable family for Nijika the main reason the manager decided to become the owner of Starry. Overall a fun ep that really showed just how much being in the band and interacting with the girls had changed Hitori. It was also nice to see her get her first fans as well in the form of those two girls. At the same time its nice to see some expansion for Nijika and her sis and Kita as well.

I loved every minute of this episode, this show is serious contender to be AOTY.
