| I have a very specific issue with Netflix's subtitles and I'd like to know if it's a problem for anyone else. They barely have a border around them so I struggle to see them when there is a bright scene on the screen, is that just me? |

| The only thing I'm 100% sure is that Netflix subs will suck, they didn't bothered with Komi San which has a lot of onscreen text so they'll definitely not bother with Jojo. It will be just another simple .srt with no formating, fading, or anything special. Anyone know if it's gonna get a Crunchyroll release soon? |

| @oddeyez @stous @dxtremecaliber Actually I know that there're copyright issues in English subtitles. I'm just surprised that it also exists in other languages like Chinese... Maybe because I did not watch the previous 4 seasons of Jojo on Netflix and barely noticed the change in stand names. For instance, I checked the Chinese subtitle of the episode when Kira shows his stand the first time. The Chinese subtitle says ๆฎบๆ็ๅ, which is the direct translation of Killer Queen. If the copyright issue also exists in Chinese, then the subtitle would have been ๆญปไบก็ๅ (Deadly Queen). But in the PV the subtitle says ็ณไนๆตท (Stone Ocean) as the stand name, and I don't understand why they do that. |

Alot of the dialogue takes place in very bright rooms and the subs are barely readable. Simple fix with customizazion settings imo Thank you so much! I didn´t know you could customize Netflix´s subtitles. I wish I knew this sooner tho lol. |

| I was rewatching part 3 on Netflix yesterday, and the subs were atrocious. They changed the iconic line of Jotaro: "I can't beat the shit out of you without getting closer" to "I can't beat you to a pulp from far away" What the fuck is this, subs for 5 year olds? We're doomed. |

They already massacred komi can't communicate's subtitles A lot of scenes in the anime involve character's thoughts and other shit displayed in text, yet Netflix only bothered to translate what the characters say. So you miss out on a lot of jokes by watching it on Netflix. |

Also watching Indonesian fansubbed version is a very common way to watch anime in my country so fansubbing is still popular and isn't dead anyway. |

Not really, for all JoJo series so far there are available at very least edits of the subs that revert back from the localization names. I'll wait for that. |

| I watched in Vietnamese subtitles and the stand names are localized, they sound a bit weird, everything else is pretty good |
