During its APAC presentation on Thursday, entertainment company Disney announced that it will stream the following anime titles exclusively on the Disney+ streaming platform in 2022.

Yojouhan Time Machine Blues (The Tatami Time Machine Blues)
The anime adaptation is based on the sequel novel to Tomihiko Morimi's Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei (The Tatami Galaxy), which received a television anime adaptation by Madhouse in Spring 2010. Yojouhan Time Machine Blues will receive a compilation movie after its streaming, with an original episode exclusively available on Disney+.

Shingo Natsume (Sonny Boy) is helming the sequel at Science SARU, and Makoto Ueda is penning the script. The cast members are reprising from the original anime series and spin-off.

Summertime Render (Summer Time Rendering)
The anime is adapting Yasunori Tanaka's sci-fi mystery manga, which ran on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine from October 2017 to February this year.

Ayumu Watanabe (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu. chief director) is helming the anime, with Hiroshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen) handling the series composition and script. Miki Matsumoto (Satsuriku no Tenshi) is designing the characters.

Black★★Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall
Black★★Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall is a new anime in the Black★Rock Shooter franchise, which began as a character illustration by huke in 2007, spawning a music video, an original video anime, and a eight-episode television anime in 2012.

Tenshou (Motoki Tanaka) (Grisaia no Kajitsu) is directing the new anime at Bibury Animation Studios and Bibury Animation CG. Makoto Fukami (Mahou Shoujo Tokushusen Asuka) and Ryou Yoshigami (Psycho-Pass 3 script) are handling the series composition and penning the script. Masayuki Nonaka (Rewrite) and You Nakagawa (Azur Lane the Animation animation director) are the character designers and chief animation directors.

Why can't one anime streaming platform be made? Why do I constantly have to collect services like Pokémon in order to watch most of the shows of the season?

Disney getting into anime was only a matter of time. some anime nowadays can already cover it's production costs from licensing money alone, and now licenses will cost even more.

I wish the animators and industry grunts conditions improves at least.

Come to think of it Disney and Otome Isekai can go hand to hand i mean disney love their princesses and OI is full of bland/stupid, princess/villainess etc etc FLs ....... A future where Disney milking OIs would a nightmare :0 oh no...........
Edit - No seriously I hope that never to happen

It seems that Disney's sudden involvement in the anime business is both hazy and unequivocal, as they had been giving up on the idea of getting into the anime business for years. No, the answer is perfectly clear as it is starting to bring in profits, as is the case for Netflix and other streaming services (ADN, Wakanim,...). For this reason, the entertainment empire and conglomerate Disney is taking advantage of this opportunity with its great abundance of wealth to seize the artistic and creative fibre of Japanese animation studios and their talents at the expense of the degree of decision making of future anime development. Of course, this is only the preamble to a larger project but that is why it is crucial to warn as soon as possible about the way Disney could exert pressure on the conception of future works of expert Japanese animation companies by limiting their fundamental degree of freedom. To give some examples of Disney's actions towards other film and animation companies, they have done the same with Pixar, Marvel Studios and then Lucasfilm and finally 20th Fox Studio with massive multi-billion dollar buyouts just to take over licenses that work to make money without bothering. And then, lately, voices are raised on the sabotage of various works acquired by Disney like Star Wars with the testimony of Marcia Lucas, former producer of the first trilogy with George Lucas, who establishes the fact that they do not have the slightest idea of what Star Wars is and other things. As for Marvel Studios, since Disney's entry into the Marvel business, the superheroic films and productions of Stan Lee's company have turned into an exorbitant spectacle, an abuse of special effects of all kinds coupled with a kind of forced humour. It remains to be seen what 20th Century Fox's true fate will be given their recent acquisition of the company, but this does not bode well for the future. This is why, as an anime fan, it is crucial to warn anime fans, anime production studios (Ufotable, KyoAni, etc...), streaming platforms (CrunchyRoll, Wakanim, etc...) and as many people as possible about this. ) and as many people as possible on the spectrum that Disney represents, consisting of crooked financiers and unscrupulous shareholders, to save the world of anime that we all cherish (#BanDisneyAnime on Twitter for example or petition as well) because it is important to nip the project in the bud before it hatches and thus get ahead of Disney on its progress before time runs out. This is a warning for the future of anime for decades to come regarding the validity of our common passion which is a refuge for some and an integral part of life for others. All opinions are good to take but it is necessary to be prepared before it is too late and so that Japanese animation keeps all its integrity. I hope that all this message will be read and that everyone will be able to make their own opinion and maybe inform a maximum of people to support as much as possible this passion which animates us all.

I don't think I'm denigrating platforms such as ADN, Wakanim or Netflix but I was trying to make you understand that the streaming market in terms of Japanese animation is already saturated, even though I think they respect the authenticity and soul of Japanese animation. I have a lot of fears about the creative freedom of the studios when Disney gets involved, especially seeing what they've done with other licenses they've acquired in the past, and it's fundamental that they're out of the Japanese animation business, especially since they already have quite a bit of monopoly and financial resources to have even the slightest interest in playing the troublemaker. In any case, I am fiercely opposed to it and it remains my opinion and I respect others without disturbing their free thoughts.
