Oh, a new magical girl anime? ≧◉◡◉≦
I'm gonna have to wait for more PVs before deciding to watch this one though, studio's past work seems to have very varied reception...

Will it actually destroy mahou shoujo genre and free shaft from clutches of madoka franchise to make good anime again?

Kinda hate it when promotional video shows literally nothing about the anime itself. Actually made me lose interest.

I don't know why, but it all has incredible Trigger vibes. Also, it didn't seem to me that one of the "official illustrations" has a male lead?

Another Magical Girl Action anime huh. Also an original? Seems intriguing. Hopefully it's better than Madoka Magica which is the only magical girl show that I've seen and ome that I heavily dislike.

I got vibes it's probably like Mahou Shoujo Site where there's an ED with a combined anime & live-action.

Hopefully this will join the list of the few "edgy" magical girl anime that I like

If you really think that, don't even bother. Madoka is the best dark action magical girl anime out there.

Ah great, someone who also has Madoka as the only magical girl on their completed list is telling me that it's "the best dark action magical girl anime out there". You're not gonna convince me, sorry.

Also, I used to watch Cardcaptor Sakura casually as a kid and it's better than Madoka so...you're kinda wrong there already.

Did you even check out my list? If you did, that was a poor observation, since I do have Mahou Shoujo Tokushusen Asuka there for example.

I was not arguing about which anime is the GOAT of the magical girl genre, I was saying that Madoka is the best dark action magical girl anime. Unless you seriously believe that a shoujo anime with PG-children rating is in the same category as a psychological one meant for teens and older auidience. You literally quote me a sentence above and then start to argue about something else.

Besides, the dark sub-genre of magical girl anime is still only a portion of all the magical girl themed anime, and out of those that fall under this category, Madoka has the highest rating.

I merely glossed over your list the first time but looking at it again, the only other magical girl anime on that list is literally the one you mentioned and Dokuro-chan. Two very obscure and low-rated series that literally nobody gives a shit about. Obcourse you'd say the highly-rated one is the best one, it's probably the only "good" one you saw. Maybe you would've been more believable if you've actually seen other just as well-regarded ones like Utena, Yuuki Yuuna, Symphogear, Princess Tutu etc. Either way, it doesn't change the conclusion much that you're statement lacks any validity. You're really not gonna convince me that its the GOAT with that bias opinion sorry. Certainly not gonna convince me to "not bother" watching this show, or other dark magical girl show for that matter, because I heavily-disliked your favorite one either.

1.) Let's see, both are about magical girls and has action, I personally don't see the problem with putting them on the same category but whatever you say.
2.) Still had more fun watching Cardcaptor Sakura.
3.) I'm not really "arguing" with you on what's the best dark magical girl show either because as I said I've only completed one and I thought it was bad so that'd just be pointless.
4.) You're bias opinion on Madoka being the best isn't gonna convert me into a Madoka fan btw.

1.) I couldn't care less about its highest-rating if I personally thought its shit.
2.) You've literally only seen three of said small portion.

You're free to compare both of them since they fall under the same genre but at the end of the day, what makes Madoka so reverred and loved is the fact that it's a deconstruction of the magical girl genre rather than it being another standard entry in the genre like Cardcaptor that doesn't add anything new, thought provoking or game changing about it

There's a reason why virtually every single magical girl series that has came out in the past 10-15 years have adopted the same formula as Madoka lol

Even if I were to watch all of the mentioned anime above, at the end of the day nothing would change since I like Madoka, and you think it's shit.
