| well housen and jiraia died so i thought i leave them out the list, but if they were to be included Housen should be on par with Kamui and Jiraia below Gintoki. Jirochou can be above or on par with Gin and Kagura on Yato mode is deffo stronger than Gintoki. Not sure about Sakamoto should he be in the list? And is Oboro stronger than Gin? |

Also I cant see Tatsuma beating Sogou (you know what I mean) he cant hold a sword anymore because of (manga spoilers) True Okita hasnt defeated anyone notable but his fight with Kamui isnt something to look past to, Kamui is one of the strongest Yato in the series Okita gave him major injuries, Kamui aint survivng a kunai to the face, but theres a chance that Sogou may survive Kamui's punch since he already did. |

| Finished the anime and just caught up with the manga Hmm also, I wanted to share my opinion on this thread. I can't really do 10 because some are equal but anyway here's my list. 1. Utsuro / Shoyo 2. Yato clan: 1. Umibouzo/ Hosen/ Kamui/ Yato mode Kagura>Abuto 3. The samurais (1. Gintoki 2. Takasugi 3. Katsura ) maybe I should also add Kyubei's grand dad, Jirocho and Oboro here at no.3 4. Other yatos: Kagura normal mode> Mutsu 5. Okita > Sakamoto > Nobume > Shimaru >Zenzo > Bansai -Did I missed someone? I think she's as strong as Umi or maybe even stronger. Should I put Obi Hajime? haha! I know he's also strong but his arc was troll, I mean it was based on star wars so I didn't take it seriously. -BUT! personally without Utsuro's Immortality, Umi would be number one for me, Kamui's really close though. - I still think that Umi is the strongest yato especially during Umi's prime/ young years. Even if he was compared to Hosen and Kamui, just an opinion though. unless we see Kamui berserk mode. -Kagura's Yato mode no doubt about it is as strong as Hosen. Abuto even stated that. -I think Abuto is stronger than Kagura normal mode, because his a veteran. About mutsu she barely have enough screen time so I cant know for sure if she's stronger than kagura or not but shes yato so i have to put her here. - I don't know how strong sakamoto is because he's such a troll sometimes. - I really don't know were to put kagura and the other yatos at first because IN TERMS OF MERE STRENGTH they are stronger than gin and the other samurais, its given. but Gin has more combat experience i think so I have to put them below gin -Got to give credit to Okita, I mean he almost lasts a minute to kamui. - As much as I love Gin, I don't think he's the strongest, I think both gin and takasugi are equal and yeah maybe even Katsura He's just such an idiot sometimes. BUT! when it comes to willpower and the urge to stand up and fight back Gin outshines them all! yeah right! |

| It's been a while since I've watched the show but here we go. 1. Kamui 2. Umibozu 3. Housen 4. Utsuro 5. Abuto 6. Takasugi 7. Gintoki 8. Sougo 9. Katsura 10. Kagura I believe pure strength wise Kamui is first. He's younger then the rest of the Yato He's Probably in his prime. And the guy's a beast he lives for fighting. I see a lot of the people rank Kagura pretty high but Sougo is at least her equal. For the entire anime they have been basically rivals. And if anything Sougo might be better. All the Damage Kagura Does to Kamui is because of Sougo and Kagura even admits to that. In a couple more years he will be Gin and Takasugi level. The kids a beast. |
